This Vendor Data Protection & Customer Privacy Policy is subject to and incorporated into the Shwcse Vendor Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict, the Vendor Terms of Use control.
1. Data Access & Use
Vendors may receive limited access to customer data solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders, providing customer support, and complying with legal obligations.
Customer data may not be used for unrelated marketing, resale, or unauthorized purposes.
2. Data Protection Responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for protecting customer data against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss.
Vendors must implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect customer information.
3. Prohibited Data Practices
Vendors may not:
Sell, share, or rent customer data
Use customer data outside the scope of the transaction
Collect additional customer data without authorization
4. Compliance with Privacy Laws
Vendors must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including those related to consumer privacy and data security.
5. Data Breaches
Vendors must promptly notify Shwcse of any actual or suspected data breach involving customer information.
Failure to report a data breach may result in enforcement action.
6. Platform Oversight
Shwcse reserves the right to monitor vendor data practices and require corrective actions if necessary.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.
8. Policy Updates
Shwcse may update this Vendor Data Protection & Customer Privacy Policy at any time. Continued participation as a vendor constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
