Shwcse is a local-first marketplace. All orders are fulfilled by courier delivery or local pickup, depending on Vendor availability. Shwcse does not use traditional shipping carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

By placing an order on Shwcse, you agree to the delivery rules outlined below.

1. Delivery Methods

Shwcse supports two fulfillment methods:

1.1 Courier Delivery (Primary Method)

Orders are delivered by vetted third-party courier partners such as:

  • Uber

  • DoorDash

  • Local delivery services approved by Shwcse

Couriers pick up orders directly from Vendors and deliver them to customers.

1.2 Local Pickup (If Offered by Vendor)

Some Vendors may allow customers to pick up orders in person.
Pickup details will be provided at checkout if available.

2. Delivery Areas

Shwcse operates within local delivery zones defined by each Vendor’s location.

Availability may vary based on:

  • Vendor distance

  • Courier coverage

  • Real-time driver availability

  • Traffic or weather conditions

If a customer is outside the Vendor’s courier radius, the order may be blocked at checkout.

3. Delivery Timing

Delivery speed depends on:

  • Vendor preparation time

  • Courier availability

  • Location and traffic conditions

Typical delivery windows:

  • Same-day delivery for most orders

  • Delivery within 1–3 hours after the Vendor marks the order as “Ready for Pickup”

  • Some deliveries may take longer during peak hours or severe weather

Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout but are not guaranteed.

4. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based on:

  • Distance

  • Courier rates

  • Real-time demand

  • Vendor service options

Fees are displayed at checkout and are non-refundable, including for:

  • Customer unavailability

  • Incorrect address

  • Delays caused by traffic or courier conditions

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Order cancellations after courier dispatch

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth delivery, customers must:

  • Provide a complete and accurate delivery address

  • Include gate/access codes when necessary

  • Be available during the delivery window

  • Answer courier calls/messages if needed

  • Ensure someone is present to receive the order (if required)

If a courier cannot complete delivery due to customer issues, the customer is responsible for:

  • Additional delivery fees, or

  • Picking up the order directly from the Vendor (if available)

Refunds will not be issued for failed deliveries caused by customer unavailability.

6. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors must:

  • Prepare orders accurately and on time

  • Package items securely for courier transport

  • Mark orders as “Ready for Pickup” when prepared

  • Be available for courier pickup during listed hours

  • Ensure the correct package is handed to the courier

Shwcse is not liable for Vendor preparation delays.

7. Courier Partner Responsibilities

Courier partners are responsible for:

  • Picking up orders promptly

  • Transporting items with reasonable care

  • Following the delivery instructions provided

Couriers are independent third-party partners, not Shwcse employees.
Shwcse does not control courier behavior but will investigate issues that arise.

8. Risk of Loss & Damage

Once a courier picks up the order:

  • Risk of loss transfers to Shwcse and the Vendor, not the courier alone

  • Courier-related damage or loss claims are handled through Shwcse’s support team

  • Customers must report damage within 48 hours of delivery with clear evidence

Shwcse may issue refunds, replacements, or credits depending on the investigation outcome.

9. Failed Deliveries

A delivery is considered failed if:

  • Customer is unreachable

  • Address is incorrect or inaccessible

  • Customer refuses delivery without an authorized reason

  • Courier cannot safely deliver the item

In these cases:

  • Delivery fees are not refunded

  • A second delivery attempt may incur an additional fee

  • Vendors are not required to accept returns unless covered under the Return & Refund Policy

10. Delivery Confirmation

A delivery is considered complete when:

  • The courier marks it as delivered in the app

  • A photo is uploaded (if the courier service supports it)

  • GPS or completion data confirms location

If the customer disputes a completed delivery, Shwcse will open a delivery investigation.

Customers must submit:

  • Photos or video of the delivery area

  • Confirmation they checked all entrances, leasing offices, parcel lockers, etc.

Shwcse aims to resolve delivery disputes within 7–10 business days.

11. Age-Restricted or Regulated Items (If Applicable)

If Shwcse allows age-restricted or regulated products in the future:

  • Couriers may be required to verify a valid government ID

  • Failure to provide ID will result in a failed delivery

  • Delivery fees will not be refunded in that scenario
